Baringo South Member of Parliament Grace Jelagat Kipchoim is dead.
Hon Kipchoim reportedly succumbed to complications brought on by cancer on Friday morning.
Hon Kipchoim was re-elected on a Jubilee Party ticket on August 8, 2017 despite being sickly and bedridden.
In the 2017 general elections, she was unable to hit the campaign trail due to illness but was re-elected as Baringo South MP in a highly contested election.
The MP-elect from Tugen community got 9,299 votes against her closest competitor Charles Kamuren’s (Kanu) 8,905 votes
