Court of Appeal in Eldoret has reinstated the election victory of Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter overturning High Court ruling that had nullified the election early this year.

The three judge bench ruled that the Nandi Hills Mp ALfred Keter was validly elected.

On 1st March 2018, Eldoret High Court haa nullified the Election of Alfred Keter as Nandi Hills Member of Parliament claiming election was not free, fair and credible as per the constitution and law.

The Court directed that each party pays Ksh 1 Million to carter for the costs of the petition.

Keter has been a rebel Member of Parliament in Jubilee who was recently elected as chairman of labour Committee in parliament against the wishes of Uhuru and Ruto.

He was later removed from the committee after a directive from Jubilee Parliamentary group meeting held at Statehouse.
