Today, upmarket Carefour Retailer has embarked on selling dead stock with promotion that requires a customer to buy two litres of Brookside Milk and then earn two packs of Yoghurt. Both are highly perishable products and customers risk food poisoning for consuming expired products.
Indications are that Brookside has suffered loses running into billions of shillings since the boycott of its products started on announcement by NRM a week ago.
The Economic Boycott on Brookside , Safaricom and BIDCO Products is meant to achieve Electoral Justice and Democracy in Kenya.
