The leaders have urged leaders from Kisumu county to be very careful in the way they handle the election dispute in the region because any inflammatory statements may cause problems.
They said peace should prevail between the communities living in border so that Kenya remain united and that youths should not be incited to engage in violence.
They asked “overzealous youths” to desist from barricading roads and pelting stones to vehicles saying infrastructure is key to economic growth. Also urge the residents to remain calm and ask the security personel to deal with culprits who engage in violence squarely and firmly in accordance with the law.
