The National Super Alliance summit has unanimously passed a resolution to unequivocally support the dialogue pact signed by the People’s President H.E. Raila Odinga and State President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Speaking after emerging from a closed door meeting at the Stony Athi Resort in Lukenya, a meeting that lasted several hours, a humble ANC Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi said they were never opposed to national dialogue.

“We have listened to Raila Odinga and he has explained everything he discussed with president Uhuru Kenyatta” he said.

“Following an eloborate briefing by H.E. Raila Odinga on the talks between him and the President, the NASA summit registers its appreciation of opening of the door for dialogue by the two leaders”

“For the avoidance of doubt let it be known that we encourage constructive/ structured dialogue to address the cause of our National Problems” said Musalia Mudavadi who was flanked by FORD-KENYA Party Leader Moses Wetang’ula, Wiper Democratic Movement Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka and ODM /NASA President H.E Raila Odinga.

Earlier press reports suggested that Raila would boycott the meeting and that the NASA coalition was staring at an inevitable split after it emerged H.E. Odinga had privately met and reached a deal with Jubilee’s Uhuru Kenyatta.

Over the weekend, Mudavadi addressed a press conference to trash the Raila-Uhuru pact calling it a deal between two individuals and one that had nothing to do with NASA.

This afternoon, Mudavadi was forced to eat a humble pie and retract his weekend remarks.

Other co-principals like Kalonzo and Wetang’ula were similarly reluctant to support the talks until after they had heard from the NASA leader who ambushed the country with a suprise deal with Uhuru.
