One of the men who allegedly assaulted former Nairobi Central Business District Association chairman Timothy Muriuki at Hotel Boulevard, and has been placed on a wanted poster by the National Police Service has surrendered.

Brian Owino voluntarily presented himself at Kilmani Police Station accompanied by a battery of lawyers.

Owino has been detained at Central Police Station and will be presented in court tomorrow.

Last week authorities offered a total bounty of Sh2.5 million for information leading to the capture of the five men.

Nairobi police boss Joseph Ole Tito told the group that assaulted former official of the Nairobi Central Business District Association Tim Muriuki to surrender to the DCIO Central police station as soon as possible.

The other four suspects are still at large.
