Ruto allied MP Drags Uhuru's brother Muhoho Kenyatta into Sugar Importation
President Uhuru's Younger Brother Muhoho Kenyatta

DP William Ruto ally and Member Of Parliament for Aldai Constituency Cornelly Serem has listed President Uhuru’s brother Muhoho Kenyatta to the distribution of contraband sugar in Kenya.

Serem told the Parliamentary Agriculture committee that Muhoho Kenyatta’s company was among the 100 companies which imported excess sugar to the country.

Serem tabled a document listing Muhoho Kenyatta  among the directors of 112 Protech Investment  Limited  Company , which was among the over 100 companies which imported sugar.

However Serem statement didn’t go well with the committee chair Kanini Kega who told him to refrain from mentioning individuals over allegations he couldn’t substantiate.

The Committee had summoned Interior and Coordination Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i to explain his claim that the contraband sugar he netted contained high levels of Mercury.

Matiang’i failed to appear before the committee citing other prior engagement with Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission.

The sugar importation saga has divided Jubilee Party right in the middle with Majority Leader Aden Duale saying a major sugar importer from the Rai business group is being protected by big forces in Kenya.
