On Sunday Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen stated publicly that he does not support President Uhuru Kenyatta’s call for a lifestyle audit on all government officers.
The National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale has publicly stated that he thinks the war against contraband and poisonous imports is targeted at targeted to ‘his community’.
Clearly the two majority leaders no longer represent the interests of the party that put them in their current leadership positions in Parliament. They represent partisan and sectarian interests. They also clearly not support the President’s efforts to fight corruption or rid Kenya of contraband and/or poisonous products.
In their current roles as Majority Leaders is Senate & National Assembly Kipchumba Murkomen and Aden Duale are expected to drive government policies and agendas in Senate and Parliament. Clearly they no longer can.
Aden Duale & Kipchumba Murkomen therefore need to resign from their positions as Majority Leader Senate and National Assembly respectively.
If they do not do so I will be request our Party Leader Uhuru Kenyatta to call for a Parliamentary Group (PG) meeting where we can discuss their conduct with the aim of kicking them out of those two officers.
The Jubilee Majority Leaders in both houses must only drive that business that serves the governing party; not personal selfish interests.
